Buy the best quality paint within your budget. It provides a better finish and will be far more durable over time.

Go Green!

Select a paint with the least amount of harsh chemicals. Avoid chemicals such as VOC which can cause headaches and dizziness. Go green (environmentally conscious) or latex based when choosing paint. Not only do they perform the same but you avoid all the health damaging side effects.

Test first, apply later

Test out your paint before committing to a color. Paint patches on a wall and see how the color changes throughout the day with sunlight, shading, etc. Additionally get sample cards and pin them against the wall.

Ceiling walls – create the subtle difference

Paint the ceiling the same as your walls but with a slight tint. This helps differentiate between the two but still provides similarity.
